There are thousands of different financial instruments which a trader can explore and trade on Fibonetix. Each asset class has its own characteristic, therefore, should be traded based on the specifics applying different investment strategies.
The first contracts for difference appeared in the early 1990s and are initially available only to institutional investors, who were hedging their positions on the London Stock Exchange. In the Late 1990's CFD trading became available to private investors, after which the popularity of these trading instruments increased along with the development of electronic trading systems.
A Contract for Difference or a CFD is an agreement between two parties, buyer and seller, to exchange the difference between the price of an underlying asset at the opening and closing moment of the contract. CFD’s are derivative products which mean that traders don`t actually own the underlying asset but they simply trade on the price difference between the opening and closing time. In addition, CFD’s are leveraged which means that you gain a much larger market exposure for a relatively small initial deposit, therefore, the return on your investment is significantly larger than in other forms of trading.
Today CFD markets have reached high levels of development, which provides many opportunities for traders to make deals on a wide variety of underlying assets by buying or selling a number of units for a particular instrument depending on whether traders think prices will go up or down. Fibonetix offers a significant number of CFD instruments in different markets like FX, stocks, indices, commodities, precious metals, etc.
Trading Contracts for Difference and Foreign Exchange is highly speculative and carries a level of risk that may not be suitable for all investors.
